Thanks
to two people were who able to "take a peek", courtesy of a pass, we are
able to get a little of the feeling during the final preparations that
were going on inside the fence on Friday. These were taken at a distance
(as you will see) so as not to disturb or interfere with anyone at all.
The photographer, Marty, has offered them to be included here just to provide
another glimpse into the preparation for this amazing show! There are also
some lovely candid shots from Kerstin.
And so the
final items were put into place. Meanwhile, the fans were gathering in
London, many meeting at the Swan Taven for a chance to finally meet those
with whom they had been communicating for months, or reunite with others
who had shared this path before... but would the path be the same this
time?? To see the "meetings" click here. |
"...we
were in the center of the venue and Daire was rehearsing some of the troupe
on the grass right of the stage." |
"While
Daire rehearsed one part of the troupe to the right of the stage, Marie
Duffy was putting another group through their paces on the left hand side
of the stage." |
"Looked
like the crew was setting up the last of the HUGE number of speakers. Wonder
who the blonde in the blue shirt and white pants is. Seems to be
in charge or something? LOL! Damn! Wish he'd turned around."
|
"...and
there's that guy in the white pants again. Well a shot of that behind never
hurts." |
|

Marie Duffy and Bernadette Flynn
- two of the "leading ladies"!
|
A man on a mission...
... and ALWAYS checking!
|
Two people out for a stroll? Or
two
incredibly talented dancers and
performers just being themselves.
|
|
"This is a close-up shot
of the stage that really shows the unicorns and the
new Celtic towers. Looks
much clearer in daylight."
|
|
"This is a wide angle shot
of the stage from further back. You can really tell
the immensity of the stage when
comparing it with the the three people standing on it."
