This website exists to support the Forest of Shadows message-based RPG and community. It is probably best viewed in Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, although I try to test in Netscape. It should work resolutions of 800x600 or higher. I believe in designing sites that are accessible to as many people as possible, so if you have trouble accessing or viewing this site, please let me know.
Our message board was born February 15, 2001, and this site came into existence shortly afterward. The site is now in its second complete incarnation, and, like the message board, it changes frequently. I no longer keep a running log, but significant changes should appear in the Announcements forum.
The primary webmaster here is me, Salli, but I receive much assistance from Sarah. Miraeda works on the Character Profiles and Starting Professions pages, and she may help with other things, too. Members and staff of the Forest of Shadows may sometimes be responsible for content. You can contact any of us using the information below.
Sarah and I do all our HTML using 1st Page 2000, an excellent web editing program that allows us to write our own HTML and take advantage of previewing and color-coding features. Most of the images on this site were created using Microsoft Paint and/or Microsoft Picture It!. (Neither of which is exactly a graphics program!) Our message board is provide by ezboard.
Naturally, everything on this site that is not otherwise labeled is copyright myself, Sarah, and/or the members of the Forest of Shadows. We reserve every single right this gives us, but we will happily share if asked.
