I don't know how long it's been since I had a full day with absolutely nothing I had to do, but let me tell you, it's been wonderful. I played phone tag with my CASA supervisor, and completely forgot that I bowl Every Single Monday so I can't make an appointment on Mondays!

Apparently WorldCon sold their list to some junk mailers, since I got mail directly for Gordon Shumway to this address. Grumble.

I spent much of the day playing with the DVD of Monsters, Inc. The second disk has little cartoons, a new short of Mike's New Car, commentary on For the Birds, a tour of the new Pixar facility in Emoryville, games, etc. It's also a good way to learn the way around the DVD remote. I liked doing a split screen comparison of storyboard and movie at one point. The initial movie plot was very different. I think they improved it. Anyway, that was pleasant.
