Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.---somebody on some mailing list
Same-same on the weight, which if you consider that travel is broadening, is probably pretty good.
I got the neighbor to sign ten forms, and I mailed five of them off. I sure HOPE each envelope had the right check and the right paperwork. That almost finishes all the stuff: I still have to pay the Probate Referee for, uh, doing not much, and my own bill from when I paid Gerhard's phone and electricity bills, and then it's close the estate out, leaving enough for taxes. I can't believe this is almost done!
I was watching the tapes from last week and was rewinding at one point when Dr. Phil was talking to someone who has let books take over his house. "Graham has over 4000 books in his home." Piker. I was mildly upset with the teenage daughter: "I told my dad my room was a book-free zone." At least MY kids didn't rebel in that direction!! I found out that Thomas Jefferson had 13,000 books when he died. I'm not quite there, in fact I'm trying to get down (I guesstimate 6-7000 here.)
I called the Pennsylvania history people for a copy of that magazine with the Merci train article in it.
