| 'I can't believe I've lost her. She's gone' Joey thought to himself as tears started to fill his eyes while he started singing the song 'Gone' with the rest of the group. He lost the love of his life because of a mistake. A mistake that should've been preventable he wasn't there when he really needed the attention. He was caught while he was about to sleep with another girl. But not any other girl. He slept with her best friend. It was the worst mistake he's ever done in his whole life and because of that he suffered the consequences. He lost his true love. 'I should've known better...' he thought to himself as he put his head in his hands and started sobbing while his band members sighed, knowing what Joey was exactly thinking but kept on going with the show. Joey remembered the night like it was yesterday. It was built into his mind so strong it would forever haunt him. ~~*Flashback*~~ "Oh come on Joy, she would never find out." Joey coaxed his g/f's (Courtney) best friend as he rubbed up and down her sides. "Joey! We can't, what if she finds evidence?" Joy slurred while she giggled, alcohol evident in her voice. "We won't, come on baby..." Joey said as he put on his puppy face. "Okay." Joy said smiling flirtatiously as they moved down onto the bed. He started unbuttoning her shirt when he heard a voice yell, "JOEY! How could you do this to me????". He looked up and saw his g/f in the doorway with tears streaming down her face. "Baby, I can explain..." Joey said as he tried reasoning with her. "No! I don't want any explaining!! Joy! I thought we were friends. Damnit Joy! We've been through everything together! We shared everything! And now apparently we're sharing b/f's? When were you gonna tell me this?" Courtney asked as anger filled her voice. "I dunno." Joy said slurring the words. "I can't believe you two would do something like this to me. Get out!" Courtney yelled as she pointed to the door of her house. Joey and Joy were frozen on the spot and was speechless. "Have both of you suddenly gone deaf??!?!??? I said, GET OUT!!!!!" Courtney yelled now really screaming as she pointed at the door. Joey was the first one to walk out of the door while Courtney grabbed her ex friend and shoved her outside with Joey. "Would you hear me out?" Joey pleaded as he stood on the doorstep watching Courtney cry. It was killing him that it was him doing this to her. "No! I'm sorry I ever met you Joey... I thought you were different." Courtney said shaking evidently as she slammed the door shut and a storm started brewing in the dark night sky. ~~*End of flashback*~~ |
