Everybody is
Somebody
on
the family tree.

Researched,
Compiled &
Written by Dean
C. Hagen
My
father, Oscar
Hagen, was a
farmer and
worked at that
occupation for
82 years. He
died at the age
of 83. My mother,
Frances
Berlin/Hagen was a
homemaker and lived to be
94 years of
age.
They worked
hard, brought
seven children
into this world,
lived on
fifteen
different farms
and had their
share of joys
and sorrows. I
dedicate this
section of the
book,
"EVERYBODY
IS SOMEBODY, on
the family
tree" to
them.
The research for
this section was
compiled using
the usual
documents, such
as, census,
church records,
etc. Some of the
material is from
family stories
that have been
told over the
years.
The two people that
I specifically
wish to give
credit to are -- my
sister, Adeline,
and my wife,
Virginia.
Adeline for the many stories and
information that
she gave about
our family, and
for being a good
sister. Virginia
for editing and
proofreading,
and being a good
wife.
