Cobra Cal ask, Can you pass the snake test?
New Home.

The "Snake Test" page is where you come to test your knowledge of one of the most special creatures in the world. The snake can be found on almost every major land mass in the world. They serve a very special place in the ecology of the world and should be treated with respect. If you ever see a snake in the wild you should appreciate how lucky you are. I have walked miles in the desert, free climbed the side of small mountains, and walked on many trails and yet in all my life I have only seen two snakes in the wild and they were both non-venomous.

The snake I came closest to didn't see me until it was about four feet away. I was between where it was coming from and its burrow. I stopped and remained motionless. The snake stopped raised its head taking a good look at me and when it saw I was no threat the snake crossed the sidewalk two feet in front of me. The sound of a snake on a sidewalk was like that of a heavy rope being dragged along the street. I loved that sound and was saddened at how short our time together was. The snake crawled into its den and disappeared in a flash. That was twenty-six years ago and I haven't seen another live snake since.

By taking our snake test we hope you will learn a new respect for this wonderful creature. We hope it will be a fun learning experience.
