The membership of our church is a combination of immigrants from various cultures that speak the Portuguese and English languages. Thus our Sunday morning services is in both languages. The first families that founded the church came from the Azores Islands and Portugal. Throughout the years, other families have also joined us from other countries. At the present, we have members that came from Azores, Portugal, Brazil, Madeira, Angola, Peru, Argentina, Italy, Guyana, Scotland, and Spain..
In addition to the various cultures which we have in our church, we also have members from various Christian denominations. Therefore, we have the priviledge to have with us brethren that came from Pentecostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, and Evangelical denominations.
The Bible teaches that in the kingdom of God there should not be separations because in the eyes of God we are all equal. God loves the whole world (John 3:16). Therefore, this means that Christ's church should practice the love of God on earth in a visual form. Those who think that they can only feel comfortable in a church whose members belong to their own culture and race will be surprised when Christ establishes his kingdom. In God's kingdom there will not be a distinction between cultures, races and denominations.
Our church is open to receive any person because Christ died on the cross for all sinners. Our attitude is this: God loves you and so do we. If you do not have a church, we would like to open our hearts to you and your family. Join us so that we can practice together the love of God and exalt the name of our Savior: Jesus Christ, the Lord!
