Things You Might Want To Boycott

Let's face it; true power in this world comes from the almighty buck. Your elected officials might claim to be "conservative" or "liberal", but they're mainly just in the pocket. So, do you put your money where your mouth is?

Environment, Energy, Economy

Boycott Monsanto
If stray pollen from their patented genetically-modified crops blow onto your farm, Monsanto sues you to pay for unauthorized use!
Monsanto invented Agent Orange
world's worst producer of PCBs
Boycott McDonalds
Although the big M may or may not promote slash-and-burn agriculture, they definitely work with repressive 3rd world governments to seize family subsistence land for use in corporate megafarms.
Mickey D also sues its critics in order to silence them.
Boycott Ford Motors
Excursion. Need I say more?
Boycott CitiGroup (aka CitiBank)
Your credit card helps fund oil pipelines through rain forests.
Boycott American Automobile Association
AAA lobbies against improved fuel economy and for urban sprawl.

Bastard Business Bureau

Just Plain Evil

Boycott Wal*Mart
Horrible labor practices
Night staff is locked in the store
Illegal alien janitors
Boycott Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)
Ever wonder why CDs still cost $10-20 when it's $0.10 to make them? It's called Price Fixing. Got sued, lost, but they still do it.
Most musicians get nothing from royalties. It's a scam.
Boycott Microsoft
brutal criminal monopoly.
Bill Gates maliciously destroys competition and ignores security.
Boycott DeBeers Diamonds
brutal criminal monopoly.
Cartel diamonds support African terrorists and the Russian mafia.
There are alternative sources, and even better ones are on the way!
Boycott Best Buy
Shop there if you must, but under no circumstances should you trust anything they say. Best Buy employees are not trained in service, only in lying.
Arrests customers who ask for sales prices
Intentionally deceitful rebates and worthless warranties

On the Left

Boycott Apple Computers
Steve Jobs is a close personal friend of Al Gore, and technology advisor to John Kerry.
Every Apple product that you buy sends money to the DNC.
Boycott Ben and Jerry's
The ice cream hippies raised money for Howard Dean and endorsed Dennis Kucinich.
They're also "Free Mumia" kooks.
Boycott Procter & Gamble
P&G supports gay rights.
Boycott Pretzels
Tried to assassinate President Bush.
Boycott Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, et al.
Artists United to Win Without War, a bunch of commie pinko preverts. Whoopi Goldberg too.
Boycott Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, REM, Bonnie Raitt, John Mellencamp, and James Taylor
aka Vote for Change
And don't forget the Dixie Chicks.
Boycott Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, & Ralph Lauren
Their clothes aren't racist, but they're definitely leftist.

On the Right

Boycott Clear Channel
Fires local staff, replaces them with dittoheads.
Secretly organizes pro-war rallies
and of course RNC contribs.
Boycott Dell Computers
Michael Dell is a close personal friend of George W Bush. Note: Dubya does not use a Mac. It was just a photo prop.
Every Dell product that you buy sends money to the RNC.
Support Verifiable Voting Boycott Diebold Election Systems
voting machines have lousy security, send live data to Diebold, can be reprogrammed to fake results.
Diebold CEO is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year."
Boycott Disney
Disney's WABC Radio is the home station for both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
Disney shows Pat Robertson's 700 Club on Family Channel.
But they claim they don't want to be "dragged into a highly charged partisan political battle" in an election year. Huh?
Also opposes fair copyrights, but that's a bipartisan evil.
Boycott Home Depot
Huge soft money donor to Bush and the RNC.
Boycott Sinclair Broadcast Group
Refuses to honor our war dead,
Partisan smear just before the election,
and of course RNC contribs.
Boycott Britney Spears
"Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens."
Boycott Urban Outfitters
Voting is for Old People

The email that lots of people passed around, claiming to be from the Center for Responsive Politics, is somewhat inaccurate. Even so, it's safe enough to say that Stanley Tools, Arby's, Levi & Hyatt are Democratic, while Circuit City, Hallmark, Olive Garden, Pizza Hut & Marriot are Republican.

My list is far from exhaustive. There are many other big-spending partisan donors out there. These are just some of the larger ones that I think are worth knowing:
