Howdy Ho there! :) I just want to tell you what independence means to me. To me independence means freedom. It feels so good to be able to say what I think and not be put in jail. In some countries children are often seen and not heard. In some countries a woman can only have like one child and the rest have to be killed or given to the government. Luckily, in this great country we can have as many kids as we want and say what we feel and someone actually listen. It feels good to me to be able to write a friend a letter for Christmas or whatever the occasion and get scared because of the decorations may be put on the outside of the envelope. We don't have to be afraid of anything. We are a free country and we can do and say as we please and I thank the people who got us our freedom in 1776. That is what independence day means to me.
