Ever think of things like this?

Why do people say they'll call, even if they have no intentions on calling? Is it just to be polite? Cuz half the people I've met that pull this stunt are FAR from polite. Why not just saying, "it was nice knowing you. I don't think we really mesh" Or "I was just using you. Good nite!" I think life would be a lot simpler. And it's just as hurtful to do either of those things as it is to not call.
Why do you always meet great people/get hit on constantly when you AREN'T single? I mean, I've been asked out and gotten hit on so many times when I've been dating someone who I think the world of, but I always wonder if they're the one. But then, when I find out they aren't the one and AM single, all the guys who hit on me are gone. Go figure
I was just thinking about this when a friend brought it up. My friend and I were talking about how we sent away for free newsletters on how to look like models (I need the advice BADLY!) and my friend (who's a guy) said,"Why do girls wanna look like super models? They're way too skinny!" This made me wonder, what is he talking about! Men always look at models. They have them hanging on their walls, in their lockers and watch them in movies where they're naked. But they're too skinny? If they had a model that was 200 lbs, they'd have a cow and turn the station! Why do men lie about this? They say they want the real thing, but half the time, the real thing is actually just a mirage. Women are taught almost from the day they are born to look nice, like models. Women even enter their babies in modelling contests! I was just stunned by what my friend had said... too skinny, but that's they're fantasy.. what gives?

Why when things are going great does something bad happen to make things normal or worse?

When you suddenly decide, "Hey! I'm gonna be self-confident!!!" somebody always makes you feel more worthless than you've ever felt?

When you're going to bed, your hair looks ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL without doing a thing to it but when you actually try to work with is, it looks weird?
