The Honeymoon
Our first stop was the island of Lana'i. We used Lana'i to rest, relax and play a little golf. The Island is very small, and unpopulated. There are 2 resorts, and a year round population of approx. 3000. The resort was incredible, and the service was unbelievable. Here is a view from the pool looking at the main section of the hotel (by the way, that's me in the white t-shirt) Then we were off to Maui, our favorite island (so far;). The resort we stayed in, The Grand Wailea, was incredible. Check out the view from our room. We did a couple of things on Maui that we didn't do on our last trip. One was visiting the Maui Winery. What a nice place! The people there were very friendly, and the pineapple wine was incredible. We even brought 12 bottles back with us! Here we are as wine sales people :)
The other was attend a authentic Hawai'ian luau. For this, we chose the Old Lahaina Luau. They claimed to have a more traditional Hawai'ian Luau which does not include traditions from Samoa, the Phillipines, Guam etc. Here we are trying to hula, check out the form!
