The following pictures show the progress on our house since early December, when it was finally possible to get the surveying done. Things progressed well after that, and we are now ready to install the sills and flooring joists this coming week end of Jan 12 & 13, 20011.

In a relativly short time after the surveying was done, the footing
was dug, forms installed, and the footing poured.

This is the beginning of the floor joist installations starting on the beautiful day of January 12th, 2001. The entire subflooring was installed that and the following day by about 6 to 9 volunteers as the temperature stayed in the 40 to 60 degree range.

The entire external framing and some of the interior wall studs were installed in one day-the 19th of December. It is planned to install the roof trusses on Saturday, the 20th.
![]() Here you see the volunteers at work. There were 8 or 9 on the job this day and the weather cooperated other then being on the cool side, around 35 degrees. |

The crew worked Sunday, Monday, and some Tuesday to beat a Winter storm on the way in.
![]() Shingles are next, but had to wait for the week end snow to end. We have come this far as of Tuesday Jan 23rd.
| ![]() We had a very good crew on Saturday, Eeb 3rd, so we expected to finish
shingling the West half of the roof (shown) on that date. Rough plumbing to be done the following week, and windows to
be picked up in Denver and delivered the same week.
| ![]() This is the Landcaster's house as of 10 Feb, 2001. The foundation has been back-filled,
and we are ready for plumbing and window installation. Another Winter storm held us up this week.
