Fan Fiction is original writing set in a universe widely known from TV, movies or even other books.
I write in two fandoms. The first I wrote was Blakes 7, starting way back when the series was showing on tv in the late 70's/early 80's. However, I'm not putting any of those stories up for you to read.
My other fandom, and the one I've done most writing for, is Star Wars. I concentrate on stories about the X-wing pilots, principally the members of Rogue Squadron.
Each fandom now has its own page, with stories and other articles collected together.
A BBC TV science-fiction series that ran from 1978 to 1981. Although infamously under-budgetted, its strengths were in character and ideas (and acting) rather than effects and action, so B7 lends itself to written fiction rather well.

My favourite character in Star Wars is the X-wing pilot, Wedge Antilles. I was writing about Wedge and adding him whenever possible to roleplaying games, well before the excellent series of 'X-Wing' novels were published. In fact, I wrote to Lucasfilm with an idea for a book about Wedge and Rogue Squadron before the first X-wing novels were published. Their reply was very nice, but they said they wanted more experienced authors. Still, it was my idea, so there !
