MY REVIEW OF THE MILLENNIUM CONCERT

I went to the concert in Kansas City on November 18th, 1999. It started at 7:30 p.m. We got there at around 5:00 p.m. There was plenty of time left so my best friend (Amber), my mom, and I went over to the Mix 93.3 van (which is a radio station for Kansas City)and just hanged out. We got to see Matt Mitchell and the J.J. That was pretty cool. After a while we got bored so we went back to the car and played some games. The gates weren't supposed to open until 6:30 p.m., but they let you in at 6:00 p.m. So we went and found our seats. We sat in section 107, Row 36, and seats 35, 36, and 37. The stage was round so it was in the middle of Kemper. In the picture below, you can find out were we sat.

We were actually pretty close to the stage. When we got in and sat down. We waited and waited. Finaly the lights went out, and the opening acts began. First there was Mandy Moore. Then came out EYC. They both sang around 3-4 songs. After they were done, the Backstreet Boys came flying in on thier snowboards. It was really cool. They sang all these songs: "Larger Than Life", "Get Down", "I'll Be The One", "As Long As You Love Me", "Don't Want To Lose You Now", "Quit Playing Games With My Heart", "Don't Want You Back", "The Perfect Fan", "Kevin's piano solo", "Back To Your Heart", "Everybody", "We've Got It Goin' On", "That's The Way I Like It", "Spanish Eyes", "I'll Never Break Your Heart", "No One Else Comes Close", "All I Have To Give", "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely", "It's Gotta Be You", "I Want It That Way". That was the best concert that i've ever been to. I heard on the radio that they are going to do another U.S. Tour this Summer, so if you didn't see this show you have to see the next. I know I will.
