Gemma left school at 16 to begin a two-year long pre-nursing cadetship while Catherine stayed on in the sixth form to study for Advanced Levels; both completed these courses successfully - Catherine gained 4 A-levels and Gemma passed her pre-nursing course with flying colours - so off they went together again to Hull University, Gemma to complete her nursing training with the ultimate goal of specialising in Midwifery and Catherine to study for a degree in Marine Biology.

At the time of writing (July 2003) Catherine has just graduated from the Uhiversity of Hull with a BSc Honours degree in Marine Biology and Gemma hasdecided to leave her nursing course and is currently bank nursing in the Hull hospitals whilst planning her wedding......
