Summer Twilight
The warm breezes surround us
as the twilight approaches
tenderly, I pull you to me
The cool blue ocean
threatens to destroy
the castle we've made by the sea
Day turns to night
and the moon does appear
caressing our skin with its glow
This time of day
changing before us
gives us quite a lovely show
We fall to the sand
tumbling in carefree motion
our laughter fills the air
as the twilight approaches
The day has now ended
and you and I have not a care
Twinkling stars
shine down from the heavens
giving us quite a view
This beautiful show
has no admission
and it's even more special
as I share it with you
