Delinquent made history at WrestleFest 2000 by becoming the first ever Intercontinental Champion. He did so by winning a Fatal-Four-Way Elimination Match, in which he pinned Sexy Bear first, and then finally pinned Lazaro Gonzalez to win the belt, in a match also featuring The Ice. Unfortunately for Delinquent though, he was in a car accident on the way to the first Saturday Storm, and had to vacate the title only a day after winning it due to injuries.
