| Magnum seems to be better today. He was limping more this morning but seems to be better this afternoon. He is back to his old self again, wanting to follow me all over the house. He's jumping around again when people come in so we're having to crate him as we come back in the house. He still seems to favor the leg a bit, especially when he lays down. He lays very carefully on that leg and sits slowly. We'll just keep watching him tomorrow. I'll call the surgeon's office again on Monday. It was time for me to call in with a report anyway. We are at the point in our recovery, according to our instructions, that he should be doing some mild off lead activity now. Today is humid again, but not as hot. The lake is still green. I really wish it would clear up. I've been told this is unusual. Last fall when we moved in the lake was green for one day. Then it was gone. That is pretty much normal but not this constant green for so long and so early in the year. We shook out his blankets today, vacuumed one of them, vacuumed out his crate so it's a little fresher. He really likes "his" crate and blankets. I'm thinking maybe I should ask Chia if I can buy her crate from her. I *was* looking forward to getting rid of it and getting the room back, but now he likes it so much, it will be hard to get rid of it. |
