NGGAPLZ
*Look4DaTruth, Wash, DC Area:
Last week I was in the Wendy's drive-thru and the
car in front of me, a 03 or 04 Honda, had Maryland plates that read
NGGAPLZ. I did not find this funny at all. I sent an email to the DMV about this plate and
I was told that this plate was issued in error and a letter was sent out on the
2nd of October giving the owner 30 days to surrender the plates.
It went on to say that it was turned over to the investigation division so they could go get
the plate since the 30 days have come and gone. I sent a reply and haven't heard
anything since.
I don't think this person should be given 30 days to surrender this plate.
Obviously they didn't surrender it anyway.
Most of the employees of the DMV are of African descent and should be familiar
with this word. It is embarrassing for us to have our people validate the image
that white America has of us. The DMV was wrong in this case, this situation
should be resolved immediately and it isn't funny."
