Personality: Drake is far from what people expect of an Intelligence Agent, he is out going where he can be, concerned for others always and above all else an unimaginable flirt, with everyone and thats literally everyone.

    Hobbies and Interests: Acting, cooking, dabbling with art despite his insistence he isn't very good. He will turn his mind to most things creative or intricate, he is for example quite efficient with a sword.

    Background History

    Never keen with his first names he is known as Drake and most people only know that his first and second names begin with H. Born to an affluent family Drake was isolated in his early years but when his father lost much of their money and influence he could not afford to be so isolated as he once had been. Shy at school his parents began to worry and signed him up for drama classes in the hopes that it would bring him out of his shell, it worked. In his later college years he was very outgoing with numerous friends.

    After college he continued his interest in drama and attended a drama school where he graduated as one of the best students the school had seen.

    For the next nine years Drake drifted through learning various professions, with part time work in the drama company his sister worked for he had time to spare often and learnt from his mother the art of cooking and from his brother the basics of art, although he could never match his brothers skill. Finally his father gave him the push he needed and suggested Starfleet Academy as a way to get on with his life.

    Intrigued by his fathers suggest Drake signed up and majored in psychology, by the time he had graduated his skills in psychology and his acting ability had called him to the attention of Starfleet Intelligence. His two skills dictated much of his Intelligence training and his skills were honed towards data analysis with psychological profiling and also undercover missions. After graduating he was assigned as a junior member of Intel Team six which, with the help of certain Starfleet members brought down the corrupt Admiral Dupree. Drake was transferred to ACT for final training prior to being assigned as an Intelligence officer within the fleet.

    Some attributed his transferral to ACT as a note of importance in his new friendship with the deputy Intelligence Chief Commodore Teneill Danara and rumours abound about his assignment to GATEWAY Station originally under the command of the Commodore's cousin.

    Since his assignment to the GATEWAY Drake has been assigned to assistants and has built, with the help of SFI a vessel which can be used for intelligence purposes. This vessel has so far been used in an unsanctioned mission in to Dominion territory when Drake was attempting to discover exactly what had happened to Commander Xana Bonviva. Although he could not bring back the Commander he did bring back information that diffused a potential war between the Dominion and the Federation.

    Drake had a shock when he was ordered to give up his operational status with SFI to become the Executive Officer of the USS PROPHECY, though he still retained full SFI clearance and was classified as active his day to day responsibilities were focused more on standard mission profiles, as far as things were ever be standard on the trans-dimensional vessel.

    Thankfully for him his partner, Lara Kal'el was also transferred to the PROPHECY and he attributed this to Commodore Dennow despite her claims that she didn't know what he's on about.

    Drake's world was turned upside down thanks to a number of Wadi who captured the PROPHECY, while forced in to simulations in which he had no memory of who he truely was he performed acts he regrets always. By far the worst thing done to both he and his partner Lara however was Lara's assalt at the hands of the Wadi leader. Lara was so traumatised that her memories were, with the aid of Maddie, hidden deep inside until she was ready to cope with them, Drake was only too happy to have the old Lara back but his own mind is now in turmoil as Lara has announced she is pregnant and Drake cannot broach the subject of DNA tests to allay his own fears, is the child his? Once again reassigned Drake remains on the USS PROPHECY as the Intelligence Liason while also co-ordinating an effort to track down and gather intelligence on the rogue Ex-Admiral Edmund Dupree who escaped from EARTH by comandeering the mothballed USS CENTURY. In the course of an unsanctioned mission taken by the senior staff of the USS PROPHECY Drake knowingly used technology hazardous to his own health to help in the rescue of a group of slaves including a number of PROPHECY officers. His system was ravaged by the tecnology and it was only through the immediate actions of the FCO, Lynette Ryan, that he remained alive despite the loss of his entire left arm. He is currently having a custom prosthetic made after refusing a biosynthetic replacement and until that time has limited funtionality with a generic prosthetic.

    Comments

    Drake is a very "easy going" person. He's fun-loving and flirtatious - almost to the point of being called a "Womanizer" - except for the fact that his romantic exploits include both men as well as women. He has many ex-lovers of both genders. It would go against his nature to be deliberate vicious or nasty to anyone that he can appreciate or respect on any level.

    His natural ability to make friends and have them trust him completely has worked for him not only in his intelligence work - but also in general terms. He likes people. He likes working with them. And, while most everyone has a tendency to trust him - he is smart enough to know when to be discreet with the information he knows. He can be somewhat "coy" in the sense of describing himself modestly - when he does have a healthy enough ego to know that he's good at his job. He doesn't take success for granted, though - he's always looking for ways to learn new things and improve himself.
