Introduction
Tension is made up of five talented guys who were noticed by Asian singer David Tao and propelled into pop stardom. Jimmy Hung, who is 26 years old, is the son of HK movie star Sammo Hung. Bryan Fang is a 23-year old 3rd generation Chinese American from Rowland Heights in Los Angeles. John Baik, the youngest member of Tension, is a 21-year old Korean who was born in Argentina. Raymond Hu, who is 23, immigrated to the United States from Taiwan when he was 15. And last but not least, Andy Lee, who is 24 years old, also immigrated to the US when he was 2 months old.
History
John, Brian, and Andy, who were all friends, were harmonizing for David Tao while he was performing at this pub in Rowland Heights that belonged to Andy’s uncle. Raymond was there in the audience, and somehow they all got to know each other. Later, Jimmy was at the pub looking for some friends, and he got to know them as well. So the whole group became friends and discovered that they could sing together. A year later, David came back to the pub and realized that these boys had mad talent, and worked with them to produce their first album, “Smart??" for two years, training them in singing, dancing, and speaking Chinese.
