dear damon

November 2005 Part Three!

Have flown across the Pond in the opposite direction and am back Stateside. A complete full night's rest was necessary for physical recovery. You must have been even more tired, yet rejuvenated, by the past week's performance. As the Japanese say, "Otsukaresama deshita, damon san!" Am still grooving to the tunes and images in my mind and have happily come across some fun ways to access "Demon Days live" on the Net and thought I'd share that with others. I saw pictures of your exiting the theater and "glowing." What struck me most this time is how your humility came across in how you were onstage. "Demon Days Live" was all about the music. You even seemed a bit humbled when you first came to the front of the stage. It was a very different you, in a way, from the you at blur gigs. This makes perfect sense when you consider how you are front and center at the blur gigs whereas you were in the background in Manchester. This must have given you a sense of what it might be like when you start working in the theater more as time goes on. I hope, though, that you will always grace us with your presence onstage as well and not completely shy away from the limelight onstage.

See and Hear "Demon Days Live!"

Hopefully,
frances
