dear damon

May 15, 2006

What a strange month it has been since "Demon Days" in New York City, d. I came to a realisation about who I am that I wasn't able to come to for so many years. It's all good, though, as knowledge is power and questions are answered. I am born-again and feel truly alive.

I am imagining you are now engaged in your daily life, too, with a renewed sense of direction. I find myself taking walks down memory lane at times and thinking about blur. I am happy, though, that blur is as it is now in the state that each of you have put it. I, too, cannot see it end in some deliberate way as making an announcement of any sort. It is perfect the way it was, is, and will be as its name suggests.

Best Wishes,
frances

P.S. I love your collaboration piece with Massive Attack, "Small Time Shoot 'Em Up." What harmony...
