dear damon
June 2007
Time has come and it is the month finally, yes? You must be super excited, perhaps a bit nervous but happy overall as you look forward to the Opening night and the 10 day run of Monkey: Journey to the West. Though you have been a composer for the longest time this must be satisfying in its own way as you've arrived at where you've always been. I am reminded of an excerpt from one of my favorite poet's works.
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
