Did a blur song ever remind you of another song?

"Trimm Trabb," a most excellent song from blur's CD "13" has a chorus which begins with the words, "That's just the way it is.." and repeats this like a mantra almost, there's something both meditative and resigned about those lines...It's as if life goes on in a fairly repetitive manner, but that there's probably very little one can do about it if one is caught in that cycle of repetition, it's tantamount to losing oneself. These same lyrics are heard in one legendary hip-hop artist's song entitled "Changes." That man is Tupac Shakur (may he rest in peace) and he sang about the trials and realities of life as he knew it. Singing about how something is just a certain way is a step towards changing it, 'cause change comes through awareness. These two songs are therefore both enlightening in that sense.
