The live in Korea... it was really hard on you... how was it?

As I thought...the actual performance without rehearsal and the heavy rain was amazing. I think it's most heavy when we performed.

What had gone wrong with this first Korea trip?

Maybe the sky knew we are doing live there and make that happened?

That could be another form of welcome ^_^, the lightning was amazing too!

It was... there were water flawing on stage, for the material wasn't absorbance. Me and Uta were behind under the tent. The 3 guys in front were really in a bad shape. Even the effector was wrapped in the vinyl in case it got short circuit in the rain.

But I think your drums looked really firm in that tent! don't you think so?

Regarding that we'd taken much into consideration. We brought stainless steel drum because acrylic drums are more likely to get scratches. So we brought those of metal material cause it's more durable.

Were the drums shipped?

Yes.

Wouldn't you worried before they arrive? because if 1 piece is missing the drum set will be incomplete.

Yes it is, it was my first concern. However the manager and staffs were taking over and fix it up when it reached the destination.

Since there were many other bands performing, the situation had a tendency to get chaotic too.

Although our staffs were merely amateur, the other side's part-timers should know about my drum set. The Japanese side did the explaination, I think the part-timers' leader settled the rest of the thing. However, I am still having trouble understanding their working system.

There were always be misunderstanding during the first encounter. You guys were departing quite early from Narita I think?

Yes, yes, yes...we reached there around noon weren't we.

Were all managed to waked up in time?

We weren't very good at waking up on time...

What did yagami san did during the day of arrival?

What did I do... nothing (^_^). Think my memory wasn't stablelized yet... I was quite nervous and couldn't sleep well. just shallow sleep I guess, in average of 5 hours I couldn't sleep at all.

It was really hard for you. How was the audience's reaction (during the live)?

In front of the stage were all policemen. In between (policemen and audience) was quite empty for don't know what reason. Look like the other side (the Korean) call for policemen whatever they do. The venue had around 100 people, just the front part had around 30~50 people, all were security guards I guess. This is something the Japanese couldn't think of.

It's always the event organizer's proffesional security guard. Really, different country's culture...

Is it? there were delays too... very troublesome. Wasn't it around 1.00 midnight when we went out?

Rehersal was also not been able to be carried out.

Um... last time... was it LSB* at Sapporo? It was also a delay, and not able to reherse. However when having an event this is something that cannot be helped. Everytime we postpone time slips away. Another thing, in Japan.. before the rehersal ends no audience is allowed to enter the performing area, but in Korea during the rehersal the audience were already in, it's more like a open rehersal to me ^_^.

Is this very common over there> Or was it an exception? Those local artist over there, were they fine with being watched by audience before the actual performance starts?

Even them didn't like like. However the staffs were saying they were prepared to take acton if anything happens, so we were asked not to worry.

But being in a new place in such weather, suddenly the show just starts, it was really worrying.

Well, on the other hand, I think of it this way; when we hear "Hai Dozo!" (Yes, please...normally greet by Japanese staff before the artist head for the stage) there shouldn't be any impossibility. since we had already choosened this life, no matter how bad the circumstances is, "cannot be done" is a No. It is such situation that enable us to release our energy isn't it? However there's something I thought was quite funny. Normally for outdoor performance, it's quite dangerous if it rains. In order for those audience at the back be able to see those in the front shouldn't be carrying umbrella isn't it? but during the Korea event everyone was carrying umbrella... there were policemen.. the audience was far away from stage... all this I couldn't understand.

This is really disappointing, most of the people went there were for good reasons; to know each others and have fun. Hoever there're also some who becomes unfriendly when encounters cultural differences.

Really?

According to those (Japanese fans) who went for the concert, some Korean audience started throwing bottles towards the stage. Those who stood at the front were hitted and was in pain! There're even fireworks being threw! Such things were really blew our mind wheather for Korean or Japanese. Therefore in this world there's no definate good or bad, it is actually cultural difference...

ah... I guess so. I think, the fact that Korea had opened to foreign music was quite an recent incident isn't it? Last time when Japan first opened to foreign music. Visits of foreign artists were quite an unusual thing too. Maybe because it's related to rock music, and the audience's attitude too. In Japan last time during Yazawa's live** the concert venue was vandalized and the organizer had to stop people from going in.

Eh! Is that so?

Maybe those poeple looked like gansters ^o^

There are so many musicians from different places, I think we should establish a good attitude towards each other. Since everyone is musician there shouldn't be difficulties in becoming friends.

I am sure the Koreans are also working towards this, aren't they?

By the way did you get to shop in Korea?

I didn't really have much time, and have to ask the staff to help. I managed to get some Korean seaweed and kimchi, that's all. The moment I stepped into the hotel room I was already in sleeping mode. Was it Uta? attending the fan club's dinner gathering. The rest of us were down at that time, couldn't get up at all! ^_^

Since you didn't attend the gathering, what did you contribute as the lucky draw present?

A costume I wore during last year end's Budokan video shot. A blue cloth. Imai... gave his hair wasn't he...^_^

Guess so! ^o^ Sounds like a good idea.

Core fan's favourite item ^_^, for it sounded like part of Imai's body.

What do you think the one who get it will do with it? as a decoration...?

(Not listening)Nonetheless having live concert in Korea was really exciting! I felt like a foreign artist ^_^. While communication becomes a problem, we can understand how foreign artists felt in Japan.

Would you like to do it (have concert in foreign country) again?

Yes of course, I would like to.
