A painter for over 20 years, Nic experimented different means
of expression (coal, pencil, oils, acrylics, pastels, markers,
spray paint, sculpting, singing) before venturing into the
new challenge:Tattooing (although she was asked now and then
by friends over the years to tattoo them with their own homemade
devices,since they liked her artwork).

Ever so paranoid about safety, it took her one year of research,
telephone calls, visits to hospitals and seminars, before finally
feeling ready to tattoo professionally. Soon she made a name
for herself and opened her studio in the center of Athens, Ambelokipi.
After a time, her pregnancy slowed her down as did motherhood.
Since her tattoo covered husband works in the military.
Just as well, it contributed to the profile Full Moon tattoo
is known for, "its cozyness & privacy...." and the
fact that the owner chooses the customers, basically by their
politeness, and...their gender! "its true.." says Nic. "I
don't turn away men, but women usually want something small,
pretty. So I save time in a way. Their skin is easier to work
with, and they have better taste, and sense. Besides, ever
since I became a mom, I feel more in tune with them, as opposed
to before when I was a real tomboy".
Full Moon has appeared on TV, newspapers and magazine articles,
when it comes to advice on safety procedures, as the studio
is well known for the responsible and accurate answers it
gives, to the press community, and the general public. Nic
speaks fluently Greek, French, English and understands German
and Dutch.
She doesn't do piercings, as she believes she should get
a reflexology diploma in order to know where it is actually
safe to pierce.
Full moon tattoo takes only one client a day, for safety
measures, and only by appointment.
