I was born at 1:56 am September 25, 1970 in Victorville, California. I was born at George Air Force Base. I was named after my father and Mark Lindsey, singer with Paul Revere and the Raiders. I was named after him because he was my parent's favorite singer. My middle name is Douglas, which is my father's first name. I weighed 8 lbs. 7 1/4 ozs. and was 21" long. I was born on my father's 21st birthday. My birth sign is libra.
My father is a sheet metal mechanic. He is 33 years old. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He works at YSI (Yellow Springs Instrument Co.). My mother is an insurance clerk. She works at Community Physicians of Yellow Springs. She is 31 years old. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Our ethnic group is English, Shawnee, Souix Indians and Germain. I have an Irish Laborador Retriever named Samanatha. We have had her 6 years and 47 weeks. The house we live in has 4 rooms, 1 attic, 1 bath room and 1 basement. The only thing I remember about Xenia is there was a ground hog that lived in the yeard. My father named it Herman.
I had 4 dogs named Rusty Polo, Heidi, Duke and Samantha. I had 3 fish that did not have names. My Dad called them Sam, Joe and Fred. I had 1 rabbit named Thumper. In the summer I would stay on one of my grandpa's farms. We used to go fishing and used to go to a baseball game. I helped them work on the farm. I fed the little pigs and lambs. It was fun feeding them. I think he put milk in the bottle and gave them. Dad and Duke used to go outside and look around on another grandpa's farm in the hills. The used to look at the hills and then they'd climb them.
We moved to a house on Church Street in 1979. We moved because the bills were high. We lived with my grandmother, grandfather, 2 aunts and 2 uncles. There was so many people there someone put a sign on each door saying Apt. A, Apt B or Apt. C. We found a house close to my grandparents. We have lived in it for 4 years. In 1982 my grandfather had open heart surgery done and my mother had galbladder surgery done.
One of the most important things that happened to me is getting my pets. I always wanted to get a rabbit and one day my father gave me a box with a rabbit in it. On my 5th birthday there was a big box. I opened it first and out came a 6 week old Irish Laborador dog. One day after a bad day at school I walked in the door and there was a little mutt.
I am 5'1" tall. I have blue-grey glasses, blue eyes and brown hair. I am kind of shy. I am athletic. I like astronomy very much. One of my habits is to spend a lot of time outside at night looking at the stars without a jacket. I belong to the Atari Club. I have won 6 awards, 3 ribbons from the Greene Count Fair, 1 soccer trophy, 2 things from the read-a-thon.
My favorite colors are blue, red, purple, yellow and green. My favorite type of food is Italian. My favorite TV Show is Knight Rider. I like all seasons, except winter. My idea of a good time is playing a few hours of Atari. My favorite Atari games are Pitfall!, Donkey Kong and Yar's Revenge. My favorite arcade games are Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Frogger. I get angry when I get yelled at for something I did not do.
One thing I feel strongly about is my interest in astronomy. Astronomy is important to me and so are my pets, friends and relatives.
I think others like me because if they didn't, they wouldn't do anything for me. My parents are always doing things for me. My grandparents take me on trips and every now and then we go out to eat.
My future plans for a carerrs is to be an astronomer. I plan to go to college. I have always wanted to find unknown things out in space. I guess that is my future accomplishment. I hope to own an Atari game and a video disc thing like my father. I have always hoped to have my own telescope. I would like to live here in Yellow Springs.
