About the story
X-Men 2099 B.C.
Trollinger, Mark - 1994
I was a big fan of Marvel 2099 comics, and X-Men comics in general. One day while working at State Farm, I had an idea for a new storyline.
In 1963 we learned that another race of human beings exist...home superior. That race could not have just appeared one day. They had to have evolved from humans before. These are Earth's first generation of mutants. Mark Trollinger presents an untold tale of mutant kind and the Marvel Universe:
X-Men 2099 B.C.
I never got around to creating the story. Just a break down of the main characters, which I will detail below, and a sketch.
X-MEN 2099 B.C. Character Profile:
| Cromag | Short, approximately 5'4". Face very wrinkly. Has the ability to create and control fire. Team leader |
| Mastodon | Very large. Seven + Feet Tall. Body is covered with dense hair. Has tusks protruding from face. Extremely strong |
| Rex | Tall for that time period, about 5'10". Very muscular. Wears a dinosaur face on his head. Has necklace of dinosaur teeth. Has the ability to transform into a Tyranosauras Rex |
| Spanish Moss | Small woman, about 5'1". Skin is a grey-ish/green color. Texture similar to Man-Thing or Swamp Thing. Her touch turns objects to vegetation. |
| Tarpit | Human form: fairly average built male. About 5'6". Easy going comic attidtude. Has ability to transform from human form into tarpit. |
| Pterodactyl | Does not have human form. Can walk upright and speak with the rest of the team in human language. Very agile and ferocious in flight. |
