12/3/01 The year is coming to a close, the sugar plum ferries are dancing about in everyones dreams and Santa is getting ready to come to town. The Extent's are playing with Madcap and The Sloppy Meateaters this Sunday at 7 o' clock which is an early Christmas treat for all you. On January 5th also, we might be playing a basement show. On a sad note, that live demo from the November 9th show didn't come out great, the sound was too bassy. However, we are still working on recording something within the month or two. It will be tops.

11/5/01 We are going to be recording this Friday's show and might release it as a live demo or take some of the best songs and put them out. It's about time we got something out for our listeners.

10/24/01 We here in Extentville are jsut burgering to get things going, we wrote a new song called "The Perfect Speed" (not "35 and High"). We want to get some recording going that we could all squeeze in to busy schedules. We want to unleash a power-packed CD on the world hopefully before Spring. Brace yourself foo!

9/23/01 Thanks to everyone that made "FrogStock" rock as hard as it did. We premiered 2 new songs, "School Of The Americas" and "Open Your Eyes" for those of you that missed all the EXciTEmeNT.

9/11/01 As you know, America was attacked by terrorists today. It's sickening to see the images of today's events knowing so many lives have been lost. We all must stay strong and ban together during this tragic time and pray for those who lost there lives. The truth must be found and justice must be served. Peace & Unity. - FuEx

9/8/01 We turned out another classic original song called "Open Your Eyes". I think it's our most innovative song yet. We are going to premier it at PunkFest. Speaking of which, here is the PunkFest schedule...
PunkFest 2001 @ The Wired Frog - Saturday, September 22 @ 5 PM
5:00 - Avendale
6:00 - This Is Forever
7:00 - Click 47
8:00 - Forever Ending
9:00 - Nipon
10:00 - THE FURTHEST EXTENT
11:00 - Hush Radio

8/19/01 It looks like The Furthest Extent is playing September 22nd, the punk night of FrogStock, a three day festival at The Wired Frog of Punk, Metal and Alternative Rock. We are going to try to write a new song or two for that one.

7/24/01 We have a new live MP3 of "Gimme A Break" recorded at The Wired Frog from July 6th.

7/11/01 Matt is jetting off to Europe so we won't be playing any more shows until Friday, August 10th when we play The Wired Frog. The doors are at 5 o' clock. We play at 7 o' clock. In the meantime, Jon, Scott and Dave will be writing new songs and finally in August/September we are going to start recording our CD. Until next time, peace and solidarity.

6/19/01 Okay, here we are in mid June, it's so very hard to get a practice together. Our show at Rock-A-Billy's is going to be setback for some reason to hopefully early July. The show at The Frog on July 6th, however, is still on. Look for that to be an awesome show with the punk rock legends Nipon. Hopefully, we will have a new song for you by then and have the song "Republican't" worked out a little better. But still we got weekend grad party shows going the next couple weeks, so look for us there. Peace.

5/13/01 We wrote a new song called "Republican't", so look for it in the near future. The Rockabilly's show now is either May 25th or June 29th. We'll keep you updated. You will also be able to get your Furthest Extent patches very soon to support everyone's favorite fearsome foursome. We are still working on setting up a date with The Wired Frog, hopefully before July 15th becasue that's when Deluge leaves on a 4 week vacation in the Europes. So check back soon for more information on all of this.

5/6/01 All you fans will have the chance to get Extended this summer. We might play at Rockabilly's on Van Dyke on June 15. Plus there are many other dates in June and July to see us play. When I get the dates, I'll post them here on the site. Yesterday, music was whipped up for songs, so as soon as we can get Matt's drumset back we will start practicing those again. On a less important note, Jon and Scott switched back instruments for "Get In The Bathroom, Bitch".

4/24/01 We had an awesome show on Friday with the Polyphonics. I believe Matt was going to call The Wired Frog to book a show. So, hopefully, you will all be seeing us there in the near future.

3/13/01 Well, it looks as if it will be another long, cold month before you will get to see the Extent live in action. In the mean time, we are going to write more new stuff, also redo, "Two Stalls, No Walls" and record a tape and send it to the Wired Frog. We are hoping to play there May/June. Also, we learned the old MC5 classic, "Kick Out The Jams". So look out for the Extent, the boys of summer are back!

2/5/01 Wow, MP3's are here. Well, the sound quality isn't the best, but it will tide you all over for now. We got "Whores!" up and "Ready, Aim, Fire" and "Gimme A Break" will be up in a few days.

1/20/01 The site has been completely revamped. It's easier to use, more stuff, and cooler looking. So we hope you all dig.

1/15/01 We finished off our best song yet. It's called "Ready, Aim, Fire" and it attacks imperialist actions that the U.S. uses on the third world to strip them of their resources.

1/7/01 Look out! First update of the millenium. For the most part still, all is quiet on the Furthest Extent homefront. Just letting you all know we are still alive.
