August 8th is a beautiful day! Dave is on vacation, so that's why the 2 shows are cancelled. Jon and Scott are moving to Lansing, you can check out their new side project sometime or for those of you in the Detroit area, check out Matt, Dave and Jay in "Rock N' Roll Revival" covering all the old rock classics that you should be listening to from Hendrix to Golden Earring. We are going to try and finish the album as quick as we can now that we have something better then a 4-track to record on. We are recording on Acid Studio digitally with Eric Teschke. After this album drops, we will play a release party for it, see how well it does and play it by ear from there.

Recording has halted for now. But it'll pick back up once we get a place to finish the drum and bass tracks. Jon talked to Ryan of THE WILLING DEAD yesterday, and FuEx might be hooking up with them and releasing a split possibly out on vinyl.

We have the bass and drum tracks finished for 11 of our songs. Recording is moving along smoothly, expect the yet to be titled album Late July or Early August.

We practiced today for the first time with Jay, in just over an hour, we rattled off learning 5 of our 12 tunes. Matt's newly cleaned out basement gave us plenty of room for the insanity.

The Extent have added to their illustreous roster a rhythm guitarist, Jay Mossburger. We will be trying him out to see how things sound. If all goes well, we will be keeping him to add to our sonic attack. We will be going backwards however the next couple weeks to get Jay caught up on a year and a half of material. We are going to try and have a set practices too now. Seeing as we have not played at all since our last show one month ago. Also, with our new recording equipment we are going to throw together a 4 song EP, featuring "School Of The Americas", "Open Your Eyes", "Whores!" and two more tracks to release at our March 8th show at Rock-A-Billy's.
