Nenaii KiyukiGenbu no Miko
Name: Nenaii Kiyuki Age: 16 Birthdate: December 21st Astrological Sign: Capricorn Eyes: Black Hair: Black Height: 157 cm (about 5'2") Weight: 50 kg (110.23 lbs) Blood Type: O Birthplace: Ushimado; raised in Tokyo Occupation: student at Nihon Gakkai (special school for the deaf) & works part time at a sushi shop Family and Friends: Lives with her mother and father who work a lot, but love their daughter very much. Is friends with Hiroshi, from the ramen shop across from the sushi shops she works at. Skills and Abilities: A little bit of martial arts (her parents thought it would be a good idea for Kiyuki to be able to protect herself despite her disability), mainly aikido/judo types (defensive arts if you will) adequately trained with the jo and bokan (a bo/wooden pole and wooden knife respectively). She'd like to master a sword technique or two one day. Hobbies: Loves sci-fi novels and stuff that expands her imagination. She also loves to "feel" music despite her inability to hear real melodies. Personality and History: Kiyuki was born a normal child, one might even say exceptional. She began to speak early on in her life always encouraged by her parents. However, a cancer developed in her brain slowly affecting her hearing. The cancerous cells were detected early and removed so Kiyuki lived, but completely lost her sense of hearing. Kiyuki attends a special school, Nihon Gakkai (Japan Academia). Because of the isolation, she can come off as being rather naive. She is often isolated and lonely so her parents try to convince Kiyuki to undergo an operation to restore her hearing. Kiyuki realizes Mr. & Mrs. Nenaii already work so hard to support the family. Since she doesn't want to burden her parents further, Kiyuki doesn't give in. In fact, to prove she's independent, she takes a job at a local sushi shop. She likes her math and sciences better than the english and history. She is an extraordinary student, but that isn't apparent now considering there aren't many kids in her special school to begin with. Her teacher, Matsukawa-sensei, would consider Kiyuki to be an ambitious blackhole of curiousity. |
