Wu study oil-painting from Guang Zhou Fine Arts College in China at the late-60¡¯s. He had
participated several large-scale fine arts exhibitions.
His artistic cultivation is broad
and profound, and his foundation of oil-painting skill is solid and
down-to-earth. He is skillful
in drawing portrait, animal, landscape,
seascape,
fruit, and flower.

Mr. Wu is a painter who has his own character.
He put his inspirations into painting and devotes exclusive
attention to original creation. His paintings are rigorous and realistic, especially his portrait
painting. His portraiture became famous in Guang Zhou at the 70¡¯s.
That was the time when China was experiencing the
ten-year ¡°Cultural Revolution¡±
under Mao Ze-Dong¡¯s direction.
All
the walls on the streets in China were painted with red Ana and the
portraits of national leaders. At that time, Mr. Wu was assigned to paint the portraits.

Portraying the national leaders was an extremely serious job.
It did not allow a single bit of deviation; otherwise, it would be
an insult to the leaders, which was a political felony.
Mr. Wu¡¯s
attainment of portraiture was sharpened under such a harsh condition,
and his painting skill was polished as days went on.
He had gained considerable fame among his contemporaries as the
Mao¡¯s portrait expert in Guang Zhou.
In
1981, Mr. Wu migrate oversea. He
has been lived in several countries in Central America, such as Bahamas,
Honduras, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Aruba.
He became a US citizen in 1996.
Currently, he lives at Los Angeles.
