RAOK stands for Random Acts of Kindness. What a novel idea! Hmmm.. People doing nice things for other people without a sense of duty or responsibility.. Just because! WOW! Ok, so I'm a little sarcastic, but it's only because I'm constantly amazed at how badly humans treat other humans ( and animals, too!). When you think that it only takes 5 mintues to share a kind word or act.. Wow.. How many people could have their day completely turned around because you smiled at them sincerely and asked how they were? Or because you gave a child $.25 in the check out line because they didn't have enough money to buy that bubble gum.. Or because you tucked a hug note in a child's pocket when they didn't know? Or because you called a long lost friend out of the blue? Or visited a webpage and signed the guestbook? Imagine how the world would change if we all took 5 mintutes a day to be kind.. 5 minutes a day at the very least, but more would be better! *wink* Hey, why not be kind all day!? It's good for the heart and soul!
