Gareth recorded his first single yesterday, and has since jetted off to Florida to record the video for the as yet unnamed track. It also looks likely that Gareth will be supporting Westlife on their forthcoming tour.
The media have gone into overdrive claiming that the results of the Pop Idol were fixed, and that many Gareth fans could not get through to vote. The Daily Mail has claimed that more phone lines were used for voters for Will than Gareth. BT have denied this claim as has the television show itself. The AOL website is running a poll to see if Gareth fans were able to get through to vote.
