SurfBook doc

What is surfbook?

SurfBook is a complete session history manager for firefox. It can:

  • lead you directly to the address you typed some dozen of page away;
  • let you save all your session history, not just the last page.
A big step forward the menu displayed under the left / right arrows browser buttons!

Why are chapters so useful?

Type an address, and start surfing. Click-click-click and... you've completely lost, far away from your starting page. SurfBook can display all of your session history and lead you (with a single click) to the address you typed (shown by an icon). Think of it as a the smart brother of the "back" button!

Save and reload. All, not just a single page!

Do you have to close the browser but you want to remember what page have you surfed through? Save all your session history and reload it whenever you want. And, since it's a tiny xml file, you can save dozen of surfbook - or you can share them.

Which version is it?

Actual version is 1.0. A next version (2.0?) will expose a button to "go out" from an https sessione or another button to escape from an http-authenticated serie of page. But don't count on it - am not yet sure!
