Day 1 until my boss saw me... | ......day 2. |
Adam and Lauren on Day 1. | This was my desk the first 2 weeks. Only a minor expression of how much was f**k'd up with everything that few weeks to a month. |
Inner courtyard at BCC. | Day 1 lunch break... a load of my coworkers/friends. |
On my way to school everyday I cross "Sathorn Rd." where I live (Sathorn Soi (road) 15) and see this, the BCC. | This is Tapper and my Boss Teacher Wilaiwan heading down one of the halls of BCC. |
The first teacher resource room before we moved it Day 1. Teacher Iain (science and math grade 6), Kate and Toni Evans. | This is me Day 1 and my Boss Teacher Wilaiwan (Head of E.I.P.) around 5 minutes before she told me to lose the grizzly adams look PRONTO. |
Somebody gave Teacher Wilaiwan this little junior one day. | I woke him up for this picture... |
Sergio Mireles - Phys. Ed teacher for E.I.P. Sits across from me in the teacher's room. | Mr. George Tapper - Spot on. |
Chissa and Sergio. | Chissa and Sergio on Sergio's Birthday. That's Serge's desk decorated for his B-Day. Teacher Lauren in the background. |
Two of the Thai teachers, Teacher Piyamas (left) and Teacher Kwanratt (right), with Steve in the middle. | Teacher Steve (looks like a muppet). |
Another Thai teacher in our room, Teacher Watana with Piyamas and Kwanratt behind my desk. |

Me and the Thai teachers. | Teacher Lauren. |
For the Semi-Finals of the World Cup ALL students from grade 3 to grade 12 were allowed to take the whole afternoon off classes to watch the game in the CHAPEL.. the school set up a huge big screen. World Cup is the ONLY thing they watch. We were to supervise them if it was our class attending. This is Asawin, Chayoot, Chestawat (grade 7) and me. |
World cup pic - Asawin, Ponnapas, Vichakorn and Amournred (some of my grade 7 students). |
Chestawat and Thana (grade 7). |
Here we are taking the lads to "Littipon Park" to see a traditional puppet show where three puppeteers control one puppet... it was wild. This is the bus ride over. I haven't mentioned the traffic situation in Bangkok yet,... New York City is a walk in the park compared. And these kids never even flinched in this bus going 60 through 4 lanes of traffic with NO rules. Wild stuff. |
More fun and games on the bus. Madness. |
Adam and more of the lads on the bus to Littipon Park. |
Lady on the left is Teacher Jurairot, my class' (grade 7) homeroom teacher and a few more of the byes. The lad with his hands spread is Roekchat "Rocky". He ain't all there. In front of him is Pongsakorn. Also in the picture is George, Dan and Not. (yes "Not"). More grade 7s. |
This is a better picture of Teacher Jurairot and the grade 7s when we got off the bus at Littipon Park before the puppet show. |
Teacher Adam in front of the lads on the way in. |
Same-same. |
oops! Forgot this one. This is Vichakorn and Ty, two cronies in my other grade 7 class. Cool dudes. |
At the end of the puppet show the puppeteers walk through the crowd and pay respect to the teachers. In my hand is a "tip", 100 Baht for the puppeteers. The puppets were intricate. |
