"Fire" The fire in the sky burns orange to red. Flames-- thin, delicate, cotton fingers, caress the sinking sun. I see purple where there once was blue. A single spiral of wispy gray dances a solo tango across the night: the calling card of a passing plane. The fire spreads rapidly, consuming the sky with beauty and vibrance. Once last wink, and the sun disappears, pulling the color with it. Only the stars remain, twinkling softly. |

"Ode to the Lounge Cat" A glass, bubbles rising, dancing to the top. A cherry sinks slowly to follow the lime that jumped first. Cosmo? 'Kaze? No, a gin and tonic, sweetheart! Live now, dance fast, and love the music, I say! |

"Vision" Beauty surrounds me, whirling in circles of blazing light. I reach to touch the intangible, and find your eyes once more. |
