The Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis was inaugurated in October 1990. I myself and five colleagues including the Rector were the staff charged by the President of the Republic of Senegal to opening the second university of our country. The town city Saint-Louis is located in the north of Senegal. Our objectives were :
                  1- to elaborate an original curriculum the young so as to enable them to enter the job market after two years of training
                  2- to develop the university so as to respond to the demands of the economic and                          sociological environment
                  3- to maintain cooperating relation with national and international institutions
                  4-- to product own ressources.
I was in charge of:
                  1- recruiting professors
                  2- elaborating curricula
                  3- creating new paths for the University Department of Mathematics and computer Science.
 With this experience I was awarded thre medals by the President of the Republic of Senegal:
                               - Knight of the national order of Palmes Academiques (decoration services to education in France)
                               - Knight of the national order of Merit
                               - Knight in the national order of Lion
 1986-1990 President of the Senegal National Commission of Mathematics.
I was in charge of the réorganisation of the syllabus of the secondary education in mathematics.
 1989-1995 General Secretary of the Senegalese Society of Mathematic. In this sphere I organized the first National Olympiad of mathematics which took place in Saint-Louis in 1994 gathering forty secondary students choosen among the high schools of the ten regions of Senegal.
 Since 1987>Treasurer of APAMS(Association of the African Professors of Mathematics in Senegal).
