Have
questions? I’ve got answers! (Hopefully they’re the right ones.) Just send me
any question about Antoine and the All Neopian Rejects (just so long as it’s
clean) and I just might publish it here with an answer! Just click the link
to ask me
something! So,
about your website, how long did it take you to make all that? It's really in
depth! And how would people post things on the site? Do you manage everything
yourself? -- Annasabra It took me about a month for the basic site, I think. I used
Microsoft Word for the formatting, but I had to paste the Acara picture in
via standard HTML. I don’t know what you mean by “how would people post things” -- this
isn’t a forum or anything (although I’d like to have a forum someday, when I’m
making more than seven bucks a week because I have three siblings competing
for chores). To submit a question for Ask Ze Nuvakat, or submit ideas for
what you’d like to see on the site, or maybe provide a link to song lyrics
that you think fit AANR (please keep them clean), or even if you’ve finally
guessed what that absolutely wretched comic #1 cover is a reference to and
you’d like your guest star, e-mail me at galicatnuva@juno.com. Yes, I manage everything myself. I’m planning on having Lewanut Sr. (my
brother) write some of The Reject’s Guide to the Galaxy articles, though,
since he knows his own characters much better than I do. (I’m currently
halfway through redoing the Acara article, so that should be posted in a
couple weeks. Past that comes Blumaroo and Breebly, Toffee and Dodger’s
species, respectively. It’s really neat researching and writing these,
although a lot of it I have to make up -- which is also fun!) Who are you? I’m a big
dreamer. I’m a revolutionary. I’m a Freedom Fighter. Some see rules as meant
to be broken; I see rules as meant to be worked with as creatively as
possible. You can tell me to go this far and no farther; but I’ll go as far
as I can, and if you have no authority over me anyway, I’ll just ignore you.
I consider God to be the ultimate authority, and if He tells me to do
something, I do it. This does not make me always the most popular girl
around, but it’s the right thing to do. I recently
went through a case in which it wasn’t easy doing what was right. It involved
another artist, a restraining order, and at least one lie I know of and
probably a few more. (And if your first guess is that it was copyright
violation, you have a serious lack of imagination.) In that case, I had to do
something that wasn’t very popular at all (especially with the other artist)
and could have gotten me in even worse trouble than it did, but I don’t
regret it. I regret my complete and utter tactlessness in doing it (which is
a recurring problem with me), but I don’t regret doing it. Even if the
consequences included getting thrown out of a group, I’d do it anyway. Why?
Because it gave me a chance to share the Gospel with someone who needed it,
and I don’t regret doing that. Actually, every time I’ve witnessed to someone
I’ve wound up making an enemy, but the only one I really regret was when I
tried to do it without consulting God and posted an evangelism pamphlet on a
forum I no longer go to. I made one of my first enemies that day, but I also
learned that witnessing is useless if God is not in it. That lesson, I hope,
was worth the trouble I got into that day. So, to all
you listening: I don’t care if I get shunned; God help me, I’m going to do
what’s right. Antoine and the All Neopian Rejects is part of this (a big
part), and so is this rant, really. What are your favorite things? Raindrops
on roses and whiskers on kittens... just joking. General
