Introducing Miss Black and Gold 2005-2006

Miss Amber Lindsey Goodwin is a 22 year old, Senior Criminal Justice major, Legal Studies minor here at Virginia Union. She is a native of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands with her philosophy in life being “ I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” Miss Goodwin’s platform is “Child Neglect Prevention.” She strongly believes in the betterment of African Americans in our society, primarily the youth. Her ambition in life is to attend Law school continuing her studies in the area of Juvenile Justice and one day become a Juvenile Court judge.

Miss Black and Gold also holds the title of Miss VACAPAF (Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity).
