Haha, that's very funny Janice! You must have read, or did I say so on my web site that I have hugged my trees, and talk to the wild birds, and thank God for every good thing that He made to grow. You should_taste the delicious Santa Rosa Plums that we are eating everyday now!

I was listening to Adam & Eve last night telling me how they only ate very good, perfect and pure fruit in the Garden of Eden. They said I could live on just fruit, as that was all they had to eat. I could be a fruitarian! Ha. Some people have called me a fruitcake. Hehehe.

Just think, God made fruit in its own sealed wrapping, the skin, holding a watery flesh of fruit inside that is perfect and pure in its manufacture and production. It is full of good minerals and vitamins too. Fruit is delivered on time when it is ripe to eat just falling right off the tree. You don't even need to pick it off.

I put plastic tarps all around our Santa Rosa Plum tree that had been transplanted from my youngest brother's home 5 miles away. It has become well established and abundantly bearing fruit in just a few short years. It was in a driveway right of way that was going to be paved. It was saved to keep bearing such good fruit. Halleluiah. BTW, it has a gorgeous show of white blooms in the Spring! In the changing Autumn colors its green leaves turn to yellow, orange and red.

Talk about saving whales, fish, crabs, lizards or ancient forests: why not save the fruit trees! Everybody could save a lot of money, time and energy, if they all planted fruit trees. You could live off of them. Some fruit can be eaten ripe and fresh, while some could be canned in jars. My mother already filled about 6 jars with her plum jam recipe. Yummy.

Yup, I think I'll take my funny farm anyday, over those city blokes with their no yard flats! Hey, you could plant one of my extra dwarf fruit trees in a tub and it would produce good fruit in a nice sunny location on your patio, Janice. Wanna try it?! I'd be glad to ship one to ya this coming winter when it is dormant. I have to give some away. They are either dwf. nectarine or peach. Personally I like the dwf. nectarine better.

You could also check out your local garden center for dwarf fruit trees that need only a nice sized pot to grow. Please let me know.

Thanks again for your post to my GB, Janice. I think I'll add this email as a newpage to my web site. You got me to express myself about my gardening. Let's get back to His Garden of Eden!

with much Love,

Joe Roy,
