DJ & LIVE SOUND - for the different parts of an event.  For example, early in the day you may have live and soft dinner music and then later have dancing with a professional DJ.  

OTHER SERVICE COMBINATIONS - The OTHER SERVICES section of this site describes items like DVD movie showing and slide show showing.  These can also be combined with DJ or Karaoke services.  For example, before the movie showing, have a slide show to advertise or instruct something, or have a fun karaoke session.  Also, during a dance, show slides of your own pictures.  

CONTESTS - Having contests is a great way for your guests to enjoy themselves and get to know one another.  During a DJ & karaoke show, a lip-sinking contest and singing contests create an atmosphere of great entertainment for those watching as well as those performing.  Have a contest with live sound and karaoke services to show singing or comedy talent.  For occasions where you'd combine a band with a DJ, playing something like "Name That Tune" would inspire plenty of memory recall and get the crowd involved.
