Iowa M. Royster, 2nd Lieutenant, Co. G

Iowa M. Royster enlisted as a Sergeant in "E" Co. NC 9th Infantry.  He was later commissioned on 5 Jun 1863 as a 2nd Lieutenant in Company "G" 37th NC Infantry.  He was wounded at Gettysburg, PA on 3 Jul 1863 and died from same wounds on 15 Jul 1863.

Promotions: 2nd Lieutenant on 5 June 1863
