Pokemon Fanfic-Part 1 & 2

Pokemon Meowth's style

Part 1
In the episode "Tunnel Vision" Meowth and Jigglypuff become the dream team. Instead of going back to Team Rocket, Meowth doesn't blast off with Jessie and James. Nor does Jigglypuff blast off. Meowth and Jigglypuff continue to be the dream team from that day forward. Meowth tells Jigglypuff not to get mad at him when he falls a sleep because her song is too powerful and he's working on an invention to keep from falling asleep. He tells Jig that he will continue to help her find pokemon to listen to her song. He also tells Jigglypuff to try and wake him up if he falls asleep. Meowth and Jigglypuff head back to Azalea town. On their way there, Meowth completes an invention for his paticular head that blocks out all in coming sound but allows his voice to come out. When they arrive at Azalea Town they meet a Nurse Joy who is surprised to see a talking meowth. He tells her their dreams, and that he wants to become a Pokemon master to prove that Pokemon are just as smart if not smarter than people. He hopes to become the most powerful trainer ever and hopes that will be enough power for Meowzie since she's obviously not into riches anymore. He also hopes to gain some respect that way. Nurse Joy makes a belt for him that six pokeballs can attach to. She registers him in the Johto League and gives him 6 pokeballs. Meowth goes against Bugzy as his first Pokemon battle he puts on his head gear invention on which he now calls a zoundith and tells Jigglypuff to sing her song once everyone but him is asleep he tells 'Jig' to take out her anger on Bugsy's Pokemon by slapping them. Then when shes done. He tells her to standback and watch him scratch the Pokemon to let her know that he's on her side. Since Meowth is a Pokemon and he made them go one at a time, it was like switching out Pokemon and therefore fair to the rules. Meowth uses his fury swipes and scratch attacks enough so that when they wake up, the Pokemon is unable to battle. Meowth splashes the trainer and refery with buckets of water on the side lines which he asked for previous to their match. He also told the refery what he was going to do so it would be fair. It looked like Meowth did this too, so the it was counted a win for Meowth. Meowth did this two more times so he won himself a Hive badge from bugsy. He goes back to nurse Joy who attaches or sows on to his belt a pocket to hold his badges or any other small items. It's just big enough for a deck of 60 playing cards. Meanwhile Jessie and James are having an even harder time in capturing Pikachu without Meowth and long for him to return. Meowth and Jigglypuff make it to Goldenrod city. The night before they arrived Meowth went fishing and caught a Staru, with Jigglypuff's help of singing, of course. Ash had just gotten his plain badge and was now in a bug catching contest with Casey (ep 159 The Bug Stops Here"). Now it was Meowth's turn. Meowth defeats Whitney the same way he did Bugsy and moves on to the Bug catching contest. Ash and company had already left, but Meowth catches a Butterfree with his parkball and leaves heading to Violet City (where Ash had gotten his first Johtobadge) which was now closer and not too far away. There Meowth beats Falkerner with a combination of Jigglypuff and Butterfree. Butterfree had learned confusion and that helped out a lot. He rests there at the Pokemon Center where both he and his pokemon get healed. With his third badge in hand Meowth heads back to Ecruteek city. Once there he meets with the Kimono girls (the Eevee sisters from "Trouble's Bruing" and "Espeon Not Included"). He asks them if they know where to find any evolution stones, and if they know where to find an Eevee since they've aquired so many. They told him they knew of a place where five other Eevee lived. They would go and ask the Eevee if one of them would like to be a Pokemon to a Meowth. They also had a couple extra evolution stones, so they asked which one he wanted and he said a water and a thunderstone. He told them he like Jolteon the best. "Jolteon's the best of the worst." So when they asked the Eevee if any would like to go with Meowth they told them they would imediatly become a Jolteon. One Eevee liked the idea of being a Jolteon and thought it would be interesting to have a Pokemon as it's trainer so it volunteered to go by jumping into Sakura's arms and nodding. The Kimono Girls returned with the Eevee, water stone and thunderstone. The Eevee explained it's feelings to Meowth, so Meowth evolved it into a Jolteon using the thunderstone and it went into its pokeball peacefully and willingly. Meowth talked to his Staru and told it would become stronger if it evolved so it agreed and Staru evolved into Starmie. Now Meowth had a Jigglypuff nicknamed 'Jig', a Butterfree nicknamed 'Free', a Jolteon nicknamed 'Jolt', a Starmie he just called 'Starmie'. Now he was ready to go against Morty at the Ecruteak gym. He won using mainly his Butterfree with it's comfusion attack. Afterward and thanks to Morty he taught his Jolteon the mowe Shadowball and moved on to Olivine city where he was told that Ash and friends had gone to get medicine for Jasmines Pokemon. They had already called in that they had reached Cianwood City, but no one had returned with the medicine yet. Meowth was told something about a Whirl Cup competition that was coming up in a few days, so he went out to the whirl islands and caught a Seadra. Since he can talk Pokemon talk and he knew that Starmies could learn an electric attack. He thought Starmie could somehow learn from Jolteon, so Jolteon, Starmie, and he trained together on one of the whirl islands and Starmie eventually learned Thunderbolt right before the competion started. Starmie knew Recover too, so Meowth thought that with Starmie they couldn't loose.

Part 2
Meowth enters the competiion with Starmie and Seadra. With Starmie he makes it through the preliminary rounds easy. Ash and Misty enter too and make it through the preliminary rounds as in the TV show. Unlike the tv show, however, Ash and Misty don't go against each other next. Instead it's Misty vesus an annonymous competitor and Ash vs Meowth. And you can imagine just how surprised Ash, Misty, and Brock were when they saw that match up. Ash: "What!? A Meowth" Brock: "That can't be right. It must be a computer error." Misty: "Excuse me miss but are you sure he's against a meowth. I mean and Meowth's not even a Water Pokemon, and how can it be a trainer." Lady: "Well, yes actually it is correct." Ash: "What" Lady: "As strange as it sounds the Meowth is a pokemon trainer." Brock: "no way, unless..." Misty: "uh can this meowth talk, I mean speak English?" Lady: "Why yes." Ash: "You mean I have to go up against Meowth from Team Rocket?" Brock: "Ridiculous" Misty: "Well, I guess you'll have one crazy match Ash." Ash: "Well we've beaten Meowth before and we'll beat him again! Right Pikachu?" Misty: "but Ash this is a Water Pokemon compitition, so you can't use Pikachu." Ash: "oh that's right." Brock: "and that must mean that Meowth must have some water pokemon." Ash: "what, no way, a Pokemon having a Pokemon? Now that's just weird. I bet it'll be some Team Rocket trick." Misty: "but Ash Meowth left Jessie and James a long time ago remember?" Ash: "That's right, do you really think he changed?" Brock: "Well, he is a Pokemon, and we did see bim battle for Togepi remember (in ep47 "Who Gets to Keep Togepi")?" Misty: "yea that's right" Ash: "Well then, I'll just have to beat him."
Misty's match is first. She wins the First round with her Poliwhirl and the second with her Corsela. Then it's Meowth vs Ash the most excitng battle yet. Meowth: "It's the twerp, suprised to see me? I'm going to take a lot of pleasure in this. Here's payback for all the times you've shocked me. Go Starmie!" Ash: "Starmie? Meowth got a starmie?" Meowth: "quit your yapping and send out a pokemon! Ash: "Ge wiz, Su-or-y! Kingler GO!" Meowth: "Starmie Meowth Meowth now!" Ash: "What!?" Starmie quickly shocks Kingler with a thunderbolt and the round ends. Referry: "Kingler is unable to battle Starmie is the winner!" Ash: "What? Electricity? No Way!" Ash sends out his Totodile next. Meowth keeps out his Stamie who tries to shock Totodile. Totodile dodges the attack twice and attempts to use watergun on Starmie who quickly flys out of the way tword Totodile and connects a Swift attack which sends Totodile in the water. Then Meowth has Starmie use Thunderbolt on the water nearest Totodile. Totodile gets electrified and Meowth wins the match using only one Pokemon.
Moving from the Top 16 to the Top 8, Meowth Must battle Trinity (the girl who beat Misty in the TV show). Meowth wins over Trinity's Garados with a massive Thunderbolt attack from Starmie. Meowth powered up Trinity's Chinchou the next battle with Thunderbolt, who then takes that energy and some of its own and sends it back a Starmie. Starmie faints and now it's Seadra vs Chinchou. Chinchou first move was to be an electric attack, but Meowth has Seadra use Twister to block the attack. While Chinchou and Trinity are startled by the Twister and thinking about what to do next, Seadra uses agility under the water. Seadra pops up behind on the left and quickly uses toxic. Trinity spots this so tells Chinchou to use it's electric attack behind them in the water. Seadra hears this as well and quickly uses twister. Seadra flys up above Chinchou using the current of air and water from Twister. Seadra flys out of the Twister quick enough to only recieve half the damage of Chinchou's attack. Then high in mid air Seadra aims a Swift attack at Chinchou which connects, until Seadra has fallen a lot closer to Chinchou, and switches to Dragonbreath. Seadra was using Dragonbreath right on top of Chnchou so it was slowing it's fall down while it was attacking. When it stopped it's attack it was clear Chinchou was unconcious, so Meowth won the match before his Seadra bumped off Chinchou and back into the water.
Now it's Misty's turn in the top 8 and she must battle another annonymous trainer. She uses her Goldeen and Poliwhirl this time and wins the match. Now Misty and Meowth have both made it to the top four. They are both up against annoymonus trainers this time and they both win.
So Misty and Meowth make it to the final round. Meowth: "so we meet again" Misty: "ok Meowth ("it's time to duel", nope wrong show) let's battle." Misty had seen how Meowth battled against Ash so she chose her Corsela first. Meowth started off with Starmie as usual and used Thunderbolt first. Misty: "big mistake, Corsela Mirror Coat" Corsela uses Mirrorcoat which sends the attack back at Starmie with double the power. While Starmie is trying to recover from the attack, Misty's Corsola uses Pinmissle, and Misty wins the round. Misty: "Yay! great job Corsela keep it up!" Then it's Meowth's Seadra vs Misty's Corsola who have a long and drawn out match. Corsola even uses recover but finally Seadra beats it. Misty uses her Poliwhirl next who quickly defeats the tired out Seadra. Thus, Misty wins the Whirl Cup and claims the title "Water Pokemon Alpha Omega"! Misty's so excited and can't wait til her sister's find out. Ash, Brock, the lady with the Sea Spirit all complement her on a job well done. She is now a Water Pokemon Master!
