Facts Abut MTFs and Pregnancy
Can MTFs Get Pregnant?
Do you have an uterus implanted or do you also have ovaries?
No, the procedure is not that complete, just as the ability to produce sperm that will impregnate a women has not been perfected yet. The Netherlands has ongoing research for a medical swap that would take from a male to female and exchange with a female to male, but there are quite a few complications and in 10 years they have yet to find a suitable pair.
I am guessing the ovaries grow with estrogen right?
Estrogen produces some of the secondary sexual characteristics but does not effect the gonadal development. This only occurs with fetal birth and can not at this time be replicated.
If you were able to conceive, did you have any problems with the conception if post opt?
The British have been working on a embryo implant for males so men can in fact carry a baby but here again it has not been successful yet, maybe in a few years.
Any problems with breast feeding?
The estrogen produces the same breast development in the MTF as with anatomical females, it would be the nutritional value of the milk that I would question. Milk can be produced.
Was you gynecologist understanding towards your situation or did gender not get in the way?
With some they can hardly tell the difference until they do the internal examination then it becomes apparent that there is something vastly different, the internal organs are not there nor are there indications that they ever existed.
