"It is done". "The battle for Terra is over - We have lost. Or have we? Since we began this invasion, our sole purpose has been to re-establish the great Star League and everything it stood for. We have never lost site of this purpose. And while we always believed that we would lead the way to this goal, we have in fact accomplished it in a way we did not expect. We have, by the very nature of our invasion, forced the people of the Inner Sphere to unite against us. In order for them to accomplish this, the Star League had to be reformed. They have done so. And while it is not yet the Star League it was when we left so many years ago, it is a start. Our goal has now changed. We no longer have to force the people of the Inner Sphere to embrace the League once again, but now, more important than ever, we must over see the nurturing and growth of this "New" Star League. They will need our wisdom and our guidance to attain and surpass the vision of Kerensky. To this end we must remain true to our purpose. We must make ourselves the guardians of the Star League to ensure it never falls again! "It is still time".

The Clan Invasion was a race for Terra , kindled by the crusader fraction among the Clans.

The Clan which would have conquered Terra would have become the ilClan . This Clan would have had to rebuild the legendary Star League.

The Crusader's goal was to rebuild the Star League , but their hunger for personal glory and honor in conquering every single Inner Sphere planet was their motivation.

The Ghost Bear realized the foolishness of the crusader's philosophy - how worthy is a Star League which could have only been established in invading the whole Inner Sphere ?

No , the Star League , as it existed before Stefan Amaris has been established and governed peacefully.

Now , as the Star League has been re-established , Clan Ghost Bear will support this newly born dream of mankind.

The whole Clan Ghost Bear has now settled down in its Occupation Zone , it only kept it's enclaves on Strana Mechty and it's homeworld Arcadia. The Ghost Bear's new capital became the planet Alshain , and the Ghost Bear Occupation Zone is now named the Ghost Bear Dominion.

"Centuries ago, the Great Father promised a return to the Inner Sphere for his children.  Many believed that we could only achieve this by conquering Terra in the Great Father's name, forcing the corrupted peoples of the Successor States to see the truth of the Way of the Clans.  I believe this was a hasty and misguided assumption.  Destiny is within our grasp, and we have only to reach out and take it!.

We of Clan Ghost Bear have won many worlds from the Draconis Combine and the Free Rasalhague Republic through legitimate Trials of Possession.  In return, we have administered these worlds fairly, and instructed their peoples in the Way of the Clans.  While our neighbors continue to skirmish for centimeters of land, we have cemented our position.  As a result, losses to raids and civil disorder have been minimal, and our Clan has prospered.

I stand before you today to announce that Clan Ghost Bear has moved from the blighted tundras of the Kerensky Cluster to the blessed pastures of the Inner Sphere: to the Ghost Bear Dominion, thirty-nine worlds claimed by rightful conquest.  This area will henceforth be considered Clan territory, administered from the new Ghost Bear capital on Alshain. I urge the Grand Council and the Houses of the Inner Sphere to recognize our claim peacefully, to the mutual benefit of all.  Challenges to this claim will be dealt with harshly, until none remain to raise a dissenting voice."
