Panasonic LCD production a rumour?
On August 4th I decided to contact Nintendo directly regarding the story that has been posted on a few websites lately regarding the rumour that Panasonic was to begin producing a small percentage of the GBA LCD screens. Basically the story was that Panasonic was to begin producing LCD screens in addition to the screens which are currently produced by Sharp. Posted here is the official reply to my message along with a copy of my original message.
Yes, I know this is only a generic public relations letter, but I still felt it was worth posting.

Subject: New screen planned for the Gameboy Advance?
Hello,
I have been seeing rumours posted lately about the current screen in the
gameboy advance possibly being substituted in the future. I was just
wondering if there is any truth to these rumours, and if so, could you
possibly give me a time frame that this replacement may occur?
Here is a link to a website that has posted an article concerning my
question:

Please reply at your earliest convenience. Thank You.

So there you have it, an "official" reply :) Keep in mind though that this is basically a generic public relations letter. Take it for what you will.
