9-15-01 Submitted mod variation with pictures from jjswift :) check it out here!

9-10-01 Hi everyone Sorry that it's been so long for an update... It really seems though, that for now, the 2 LED version of the modded LS is the best solution out there.

I've been busy lately, but I have been doing some experimenting... no results worth mentioning though, just trying a 3 LED version and working more with the circuit. I appreciate everyone's continued support and e-mails Hopefully something will come up soon (a new discovery or idea), but for now it seems that the first approach was, and still is the best approach to solving the GBA's lighting problem.

9-1-01 Unfortunately, I'm giving up on the circuit that was posted on the 13th
I have not had one person mail me with any suggestions, experience, or help with the circuit; and since I have not personally been able to get this circuit to work reliably, I'm not going to waste anymore time with it.

I'd also like to address maglite bulbs in this update (since I continually get e-mails suggesting their use). Maglite bulbs are still incandescent bulbs and are inferior
(in my opinion) to white LEDs. They consume much more power and burn out a lot faster than LEDs.
